Owners Claudine and Amelio realised their dream of turning an old colonial building into a delightful little guesthouse when they renovated the Villa Margherita in March 2008. The Italian flair and the attention to detail make the Villa Margherita a charming and comfortable accommodation option.

The villa has 7 double rooms and a family room. Each room comes with its own bath, lounge, flatscreen TV, safe, hairdryer and Internet connection. A secure car park is available for those arriving in their own vehicle.

The in-house restaurant, Il Tulipano, offers guests a wonderful array of Namibian specialities prepared the Italian way – or vice versa. Please inform our staff at reception as soon as possible if you wish to eat in-house.

The Villa Margherita is located a stone’s throw from the town centre in the very heart of Swakopmund.

There are a number of things to do in Swakopmund. Ask at reception about sailing, sandboarding, dolphin tours, kayak trips with dolphins, quad biking, horse riding, camel riding, sightseeing flights, paragliding, fishing, boat trips and so on.

Don't forget to pack some warm clothes! Swakopmund is usually cooler than the rest of Namibia. A refreshing blanket of fog often covers the town, offering a welcome coolness to Namibia's otherwise very hot climate.
