A pleasant drive along green valleys and hills will take you to Ruhengeri / Musanze in a bit more than two hours. You have the choice between several lodges. We suggest that you visit one of the gorilla families on your first full day and use your second day at the lodge to do a trekking in search for the rare Golden Monkeys. Gorilla trekkings can take some time and you may only return back to camp late afternoon.
