Pafuri Camp
Kruger National Park

Accommodation
The camp is closed until further notice.

Pafuri offers twenty large, stilted rooms, six of which are suitable for families. With its views of the Luvuvhu River and all the wildlife it attracts, the veranda invites guests to sit back, relax and simply enjoy. Read your favourite book nestled on the comfortable lounge cushions or observe the elephant, baboon, and antelope visiting the river for a drink. The camp is tucked under huge, ancient trees and accommodates a maximum of 52 guests. The main building is equipped with a large viewing terrace, swimming pool, bar, dining area and well-appointed gift shop.

Location
The camp is situated in the northern part of the Kruger National Park, close to the borders of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The landscape comprises the best bush Africa has to offer, with Yellow Fever Tree forests and countless river bends, springs and ravines.

Wildlife
The Kruger National Park was founded in 1898 by the then president, Paul Kruger, and constitutes South Africa's largest game reserve. The founding of this park has enabled the almost extinct population of rhino in this region to rise again to 5'000. The Kruger National Park is ‘big five' country and offers the best chances of seeing lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo and much, much more.

Activities
The camp offers day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles and bushwalking.

Good to know
Did you ever try to find a rhino on foot? Well, now's your chance at Pafuri - take a march with an armed guide, keep your nose in the air, keep your eyes on the ground, and keep having a whole lot of fun!
