Steenberg Hotel & Spa
Constantia - Capetown

Accommodation
Dating back to 1682, the old buildings of this former winery have been lovingly restored and fitted with all the modern conveniences. The result is an exquisite 5-star hotel with a celebrated wine cellar, 18-hole championship golf course, working farm, wellness oasis and a rich history.

The hotel offers as 24 rooms, generously distributed throughout the complex - all air-conditioned and with TV, wifi, safe. The Premier rooms and the suites have their own terrace with sun loungers and view of either the vineyards or the mountains. A beautiful swimming pool with bar is located in a quiet corner and invites you to linger.

Two restaurants are available, Tryn and Bistro Sixteen82. The Steenberg's reputation for fine dining has spread since its opening in 2009, and the restaurants are very popular with Capetonians as well.

Location
The Steenberg Hotel is situated just 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town at the foot of the Steenberg Mountains in the Constantia Valley. Constantia Valley was the first wine-producing area in the Western Cape and steeped in history. Quite apart from its vicinity to the city, the surrounding area is rural and tranquil. The view from the hotel stretches over the vineyards as far as False Bay. The Steenberg Hotel is the only hotel in Cape Town to offer an 18-hole championship golf course and first-class, sumptuous accommodation on one estate.

Activities
Hotel guests can enjoy many highlights in the Western Cape without having to travel for more than an hour. The Cape of Good Hope, the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine regions and, of course, the capital city itself with its famous Table Mountain, Waterfront, Robben Island and much, much more.
