Quartier Français
Franschhoek

Accommodation
Quartier Français is a small boutique hotel with a unique French-African style that is carried through to the tiniest detail. The two-storied houses arranged around a large swimming pool join forces with the casual style eatery Protégé and the fine dining restaurant Epice to form a small village situated directly on the Franschhoek Boulevard. Quartier Français is part of the Leeu Collection which also includes Leeu House and Leeu Estates.

Location
The area around Cape Town is home to some of South Africa's most famous wine-producing regions, including Constantia (the oldest), Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. In 1688, French Huguenot refugees settled in the small valley of Franschhoek, bringing their affinity to great wine and fantastic food with them.

Today, it is home to several famous wineries and some of South Africa's best restaurants. The landscape is as vibrant as the village is picturesque. The main street is lined with boutique shops, galleries, cafés and chocolatiers, and well worth an after-dinner stroll.

Activities
The vicinity offers plenty of wineries and restaurants where visitors can lunch and try the region's wines.
