Situated close to Plettenberg Bay, Tsala Treetop Lodge is a beautiful accommodation option. Connected to the main building by wooden walkways, its luxury tree houses offer spectacular views over the forest canopy and the valley below. Its architectural materials include stone, wood, glass and the beauty of the forest.

Sat upon stilts amidst a forest landscape, the lodge’s ten Treetop Suites are actually tree houses, each with a large bedroom, lounge with fireplace, spacious bathroom and a private deck with plunge pool.

The six Treetop Villas have each two rooms, a lounge with fireplace and a dining room. Naturally, they also have a large deck and private plunge pool.

Tsala Treetop Lodge is located 10 km outside of Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route.

Plettenberg Bay is the perfect base from which to discover the ocean. The winter months (July – October) are ideal for taking a boat trip in search of whale; dolphin can be found during summe r and Robberg is home to a seal colony containing some 5000 animals..

Birds of Eden and Monkey World are very popular with children and quite educational. Robberg Nature Reserve is situated just south of Plettenberg Bay. It offers beautiful hiking trails and deserted beaches, perfect for a picnic.

The area is a golf-player’s heaven with Plettenberg Bay Country Club, the lodge’s own golf course, Simola and Pezula golf courses in Knysna (35 km / 35 minutes from Plettenberg Bay) and George, Kingswood and the renowned Fancourt golf courses in George (100 km / 75 minutes from Plettenberg Bay) all within easy reach.
