Nuarro Lodge
Mozambique

Accommodation
Located on the shores of the warm and azure Indian Ocean in northern Mozambique, lies the remotely Nuarro Lodge. The lodge is peppered along a more than 2km-long, powdery-white beach in the middle. There are ten beach-front chalets and two cottages with sea view and direct access to the beach. Nuarro runs its lodge eco-friendly, generates its own electricity and clean water using renewable energy.

The chalets (100m2) are slightly larger than the cottages (80m2) and can accommodate up two extra beds, making it perfect for families. Otherwise the chalets are identical to the cottages. All rooms have en-suite bathroom, lounge, outdoor shower and a sundeck down at the beach.

Location
Nuarro Lodge is located on the Baixo do Phinda peninsula in the Memba district of Nampula province, in northern Mozambique.

There are direct flights from Johannesburg to Nampula. The road transfer takes around 4 hours, through the scenic villages of Nacala. Nacala is the closest national airport. The road transfer from Nacala airport takes around 2.5 hours. Alternatively Nuarro has it’s own airstrip, so the transfer flight (around 45 minutes from Nampula) will take you directly to the lodge. A suggestion is to travel by road in, and depart by air back to Nampula.

Aktivitäten
With direct access to the sea, the proximity of the continental shelf and pristine reefs, Nuarro is the perfect diving destination in Mozambique, offering easy shallow shore entry to deep vertical walls and wrecks.
