Royal Chundu consists of two luxurious lodges, the colourful River Lodge and the romantic Island Lodge.

The larger of Royal Chundu’s two lodges, River Lodge scatters 10 suites along the riverfront with wooden decks ensuring intimate and serene views accompanied by uninterrupted privacy. These luxurious suites gaze across the Zambezi River, and peer into neighbouring Zimbabwe’s picturesque landscape. Thatched roofing and interior furnishings echo the Zambezi hues and accentuate the surrounding natural beauty.

There is a traditional boma for campfire romance, an indoor restaurant and a swimming pool. During the day guests enjoy the peace and quiet, the lapping of the water and the twittering of the birds, while at night you will be amused by the grunting of the hippos.

Royal Chundu is situated on a private stretch of river around 30 kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls. The Island Lodge is located on Katombora Island around four kilometres upstream from River Lodge.

Royal Chundu organizes boat trips on the Zambezi and, of course, excursions to the Victoria Falls. Fishing, canoeing, village visits, helicopter flights, etc. are also on offer. Guests specifically come here to enjoy the quieter atmosphere away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Victoria Falls.
