Katavi & Mahale
Katavi and Mahale in western Tanzania can be reached in four hours by plane. Ruaha & Nyerere
The southern parks of Ruaha and Nyerere can be combined with the western parks, either from the Serengeti or from Dar-Es-Salam/Zanzibar. Both parks are very attractive, Ruaha with its many baobab trees and Nyerere with its various lakes and rivers, where boat trips enhance your safari experience.
Gorilla Trekking
A safari in Tanzania can be combined with gorilla trekking in Rwanda. There are flights from Serengeti to Kigali from where you are transferred to the gorilla area on the very same day. You don't even have to overnight in Kigali.
Beach
The Zanzibar Islands are located just off the coast of Tanzania and can easily be combined with your safari. After your last game drive you hop on the plane, only to reach Zanzibar in the early afternoon.
