Motswari Game Reserve
Timbavati - Kruger NP
Covering an area of 150 km², Motswari Private Game Reserve is located within the Timbavati Reserve on the western edge of the Kruger National Park.
There are two lodges in the reserve: Motswari Lodge and Geiger's Camp
Location
The Timbavati Reserve lies north of the Sabi area and borders Kruger National Park. The reserve is unfenced and animals are able to move freely to and from Kruger National Park. As the lodge is part of a private concession, game drives are refreshingly private with few other vehicles in the concession.
The reserve is accessible by road from Hoedspruit (40min) or by plane from Johannesburg (1.5hrs).
Wildlife
Local guides are more than happy to show guests what the region has to offer - and there's a lot! The big five (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion, leopard) may be encountered, along with cheetah, wild dog, antelope, zebra, giraffe and much more.

Day and night game drives and bushwalking.
