This trip can only take place when the water levels in the Okavango Delta are high which is usually from June to September. You travel by boat from Maun up the Thamalakane and Boro rivers to an island in the middle of the Okavango Delta. Sometimes, if water levels are lower, we need to drive into the Delta and find a good spot to board the boats. This depends on the season and how much rain has fallen. A certain flexibility is required.
You overnight in comfortable, mobile dome tents with en-suite bathroom and hot bucket shower. Meals will be served under the African sky next to a romantic fireplace. This is an outdoors, down-to-earth adventure. As activities we can offer walking safaris and extensive boat trips on the rivers and channels of the Inner Okavango Delta.
Look forward to a unique experience!
